Blooming

Inca n-au inflorit nuferii, stiu sau cel putin nu la noi. Sigur e undeva in lumea asta larga un lac cu nuferi de culorile curcubeului:) Traistuta asta e pictata tot pentru colectia Delta Dunarii si a ajuns si ea cu bine in Tulcea.

Dar la noi au inflorit (innebunit) insoritele papadii, pufoase si parfumate. Daca saptamana trecuta le-am gatit, saptamana aceasta am aflata de la mama o reteta de crema de corp sau fata sau balsam de buze: ulei de cocos, petale de papadie, un strop de miere, o lingura de ulei de rapita (sau masline). Am topit uleiul de cocos si cu cel de rapita le-am lasat sa se incinga bine si am facut o infuzie cu florile de papadie (doar petalele), pe care am lasat-o la racit pana a doua zi. Apoi am incalzit iar crema, am pus o lingurita de miere, am amestecat pana s-a dizolvat si am strecurat crema prin tifon. Cand s-a racit m-am ales cu o "alifie" catifelata care lasa pielea moale si e foarte usor absorbita.

Taraxacum Officinale (dandelion) , so common, that sometimes we forget it. It's used especially for helping the liver, but recently my mom told me about a cream receipe she makes with these flowers. You need some fat (she uses pig fat), I used coconut oil and rapeseed oil, added a teaspoon of honey and some proplis drops, heated them on the fire until really hot, but not boiling and placed in the pot two hands full of dandelion petals. I left it overnight to infuse and in the morning reheated the mixture (on bain-marie, until the oil melted, but not very hot) and strained it into a plastic container. It has a very nice texture and once massaged on the skin, it is very fast absorbed and leaves it soft.
