Metamorphosis

Desi prima parte a anului s-a scurs rapid, cu intamplari, oameni noi, proiecte, un soi de bazaiala interna care parca si accelera rostul firesc al zilelor, de niste timp incoace m-a cuprins o dulce incetineala, care nu face timpul sa treaca mai lent, dar imi da o liniste limpede si placuta. Pictez mult in continuare, dar parca mai cu spor si fara senzatia ca ma pandeste vreun termen, vreo pedeapsa de cumva nu termin "la timp"...si ce bine e! Prea mult timp ne petrecem "ocupati", ca si cand e musai "sa faci" si nu mai e suficient "sa fii". Da, e minunat sa fim productivi, sa cream, sa construim, dar totul cu masura: masura chefului si a inspiratiei si nu masura lui "trebuie".

EN: Although the first part of this year went by quickly, filled with new people, interesting projects and events, like a sort of buzz that accelerated the natural rhythm of the days, since a while I find myself surrounded by a sweet and pleasant feeling of "slowliness", that doesn't make time go by slower, but gives me peace and quiet. I still paint a lot, but I have better results and no more feeling of deadline or some sort of punishment if I don't finish "in time". We spend so much time being "busy" as if we have to always do something, not only to simply be. Yes, it's wonderful to be productive, to create, to build, but all these with a measure: the measure of wanting to and feeling inspired, not the measure of "have to".
Asa ca imi fac timp sa citesc mai mult, sa stau la soare (mai ales ca in ultimul timp e un eveniment destul de rar), sa dorm dupa pranz sau sa sa pic pur si simplu in reverie, fara vreun soi de vinovatie. Am descoperit o carte foarte interesanta si utila: "Un masaj la indemana oricui: presopunctura", scrisa de doctorul Sabin Ivan, care ofera mijloace si tehnici usor de intrebuintat de catre oricine, pentru a ne imbunatati si mentine starea de sanatate. Probabil daca ne-am acorda mai mult timp, suferintele ar fi mai rare si mai usor de tratat, fara cine stie ce costuri, interventii medicale sau medicamente sofisticate. E atat de simplu sa ne facem un automasaj de 10 minute, in podul palmei, la talpi sau ne putem duce mai departe si sa facem asta in familie. Eu imi amintesc ca mama ma punea sa ii fac masaj la umeri si cap si era un soi de distractie. Si ea, la randul ei, imi masa talpile si atunci cand eram racita era asa o binefacere si masajul tamplelor.
EN: So, I take more time for myself to read, to sit in the sun, to take a nap in the afternoon or simply to daydream, without feeling guilty. I discovered a very useful and interesting book: "A massage for everybody: pressopuncture", written by the doctor Sabin Ivan, that offers the means and techniques that can be used by anybody to improve and maintain their health. If we probably gave more time to ourselves, the sufferings would be more rare and easily treatable, without sophisticated medicines or medical interventions. It's so easy to massage the inside of our palms or our soles, for no more than 10 minutes or, even better, to have somebody close to us do this. I remember my mom used to ask me to massage her shoulders or hands and she always used to do this for me, especially when i was ill.
