Days of (P)Leisure
EN: Sometimes, in our hurry or in the hurry of the people around us, we forget to enjoy the simple things, we are always on the run, trying to get from A to B as fast as possible, without enjoying the ride.
EN: Well, there is a place forgotten in time, where the rhythm changes, time gets slowly and all you have to do is to enjoy the ride: The Gauge line of Bucovina, one of the last coal trains that are syill working. We went on board in the Moldovita village and we drove 11 beautiful km through old villages and mountains, with only a few km per hour, but accompanied by the sound of the wheels and the enthusiasm of the turists, mostly children. It must have been wondreful for those of them who where setting foot in a train for the first time!
EN: At the end of the line we were welcomed with a tasty surprise: the table set, the polenta slowly boiling on the wood fire and a sheep cheese that you can only eat at the mountains.
