Despre Cultura Cucuteni s-au scris multe si nu vad rostul vreunei dezbateri istorice. Eu am descoperit-o acum vreo 2 ani, la Muzeul de la Piatra Neamt si m-a innebunit! Nu stiu ce insemnau toate simbolurile pentru acei oameni, cum le-au creat si de ce, dar ce stiu e ca o data ce te apuci sa urmaresti siroirea spiraleor si a valurilor de pe ceramica de Cucuteni, intri intr-un soi de transa infinita. Eu una cred ca pictura acelor vase era o meditatie pur si simplu. Si reproducerea motivelor mi-a dat exact senzatia de plecare din lumea asta.
EN: The symbol on this ring is taken from the pottery of an ancient Romanian culture: Cucuteni. Watching the spirals unfold on those vases is just like a deep meditation and I strongly believe that the people who use to paint them, where going in a trance while doing it. For me it felt just the same to reproduce this signs. I don't know for sure what they mean, but they are strong and powerful symbols who take you out of the world.
