July in the Sky

In martie am primit cadou un traforaj. Exact ca cel pe care il avea fratele meu in scoala generala, din mainile caruia au iesit figurine decorate cu creioane colorate, care pe mine ma fascinau. Eu n-am facut traforaj la lucru manual si tare rau imi pare. Dar, vorba aceea, niciodata nu-i prea tarziu! Asa ca saptamana trecuta ne-am incumetat si am gandit cateva design-uri care sa combine traforajul, pictura, pirogravura...Eu m-am ocpuat de partea colorata, iar Valentin a fost priceputul care a manuit traforajul. Si au iesit niste minunatii! Norisorul e primul din colectie si deja avem multe alte idei!

EN: In March I got as a present a fretsaw. Exactly like the one my brother had in the 4th grade, which he used to make all sort of figures which fascinated me. I didn't learn to use the fretsaw in school, but it's never too late, as they say. So, together with Valentin, we created some designs that combine the fretwork, wood burning and painting. He was the handy-man and used this new tool and I was the color touch. And the result was very pleasing. Now we have more and more ideas about new jewellery that we can't wait to create!

A venit si sezonul recoltelor (ce repede trec lunile) si gradina noastra se umple de fructe parfumate si roade colorate:) Ne bucuram in fiecare zi de zmeura, coacaze, dovlecei, ruccola, salata verde, busuioc, ceapa verde, usturoi, mazare si am ajuns chiar sa fim nevoiti sa le conservam (si pentru ca sunt din abundenta, dar si pentru a ne bucura la iarna de amintirile gustoase ale verii).

EN: It's harvest season already (how fast the months go by) and our garden is full of fresh, colorful fruits. we are enjoying every day raspberries, gooseberries, zucchini, ruccola, lettuce, basil, onions, garlic, peas and we even started to preserve some of them (because there is an abundance and we also want to enjoy in the winter these yummy summer treats).
