EN: The beautiful calendula, in the most joyful and summerish color: orange! I really love these flowers, maybe also because I know them since my childhood, when I picked them up from the garden and "cooked" them while playing. Every summer my mom picks them up and she dries them, either for tea or for an old remedy she knows from grandma: calendula salve. Very simple and very efficient for dried skin and heels: the dried flowers are in fused in pig fat (or the modern way, in oil and beeswax) and the next day the mixture is strained. The resulting creme has the fine smell of the flowers and can be kept in the fridge for a longer time.
